Some bad luck for Wheelers with both Paul Hart and James Jenkins involved in a crashes. Luckily neither were injured but it ended their races. Jamie Maidment also became detached from the peleton after a coming together of bikes. He managed to stay upright but lost contact with the group on a stretch heading into the wind and couldn't chase back in. Ben Willy and Steve Sach both finished safely in the pack. Ex-Wheelers Andy Lyons (Richardsons-Trek) was the winner of the E/1/2/3 race and Simon Alexander was third.
