Sunday 4th November - Southend Wheelers Reunion Dinner, by Bob Barber
Over 60 current and former members of Southend Wheelers met for a reunion in Southend. All of the 20th century decades from the 1940's were represented. Some guests, who are still active on the bike, went on the club run in the morning, turning the clock back 50 years when they went out on the same roads as teenagers when they first joined the club.

Wheelers members who were track riders were able to see a review of all the track successes that the club has had since 1927, and some of the medallists with Essex Division and Eastern Counties title wins were able to be reminded of medal winning rides, including riders who were champions in the late 1940's.
The club photo archive was on the big screen throughout the afternoon for guests to enjoy.
