In our catchment area there is Hadleigh Park, the venue for the London 2012 Olympic MTB races.

 

It is a stunning venue for MTB leisure riders or racers. Similar to skiing it has blue, red and black trails marked out so it’s easy to pick a route suited to your ability. There is also a skills track and pump tracks to practise on and the hub cafe for the well-deserved cake and coffee after the ride. 

 

It occasionally hosts the BC XC Mountain bike championships and XC Series

 

There is also a bike shop on site, Hadleigh Park Cycles owned by ex-Wheeler Simon Broad, where you can hire an MTB bike. 

 

We are predominantly an on road club, but we have occasional MTB evening rides and weekend rides. 

 

The Club also has an MTB time trial competition for the Fat Tyre Trophy over 10 miles each year.
